MEET ELI
A policy and community advocate rooted in San Rafael
Eli Hill was born and raised in San Francisco, and prior to San Rafael has lived in several Bay Area communities. He is an Eagle Scout and graduated from UC Berkeley with Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
In his professional capacity, Eli is a client partner at a consulting firm working with Public Sector customers to help drive strategic planning and adopt technology that provide data-driven decisions. With a deep focus on civic innovation and commitment to public safety, he looks forward to serving the community of San Rafael.
Eli attended his first meeting as a member of the City Council on February 1, 2021 and is completing the unexpired term of Mayor Kate Colin due to her election as Mayor. He lives in San Rafael with his wife, Siobhán, and daughter.
Since joining the Council in February 2021, Eli Hill has shown that he is a principled, smart and dedicated leader for San Rafael. He understands the needs of our different groups in our city from working families to local business owners.
He is a fantastic listener and a trusted colleague and our City will greatly benefit from him remaining on the City Council.

ELI'S PRIORITIES
As councilmember, Eli Hill has been a champion for San Rafael's working families. If elected for a full term, Eli will work with city leaders to build a future that works for all.
Increase access to loans and small business resources for so many mom-and-pop shops devastated by the pandemic
Work with public health officials and city leaders to streamline access to COVID booster shots and vaccines, especially for our most vulnerable
Expand access to public transit many working people rely on
Advocate for the construction of affordable housing units and alternative models to make San Rafael a welcoming place for young professionals and families
Maintain orderliness of public parks and recreational centers for San Rafael's children and families
